Blaupunkt EV Faq's

Blaupunkt EV provides a comprehensive suite of premium German-engineered charging infrastructure. Our offerings include robust wallboxes for both residential and commercial applications, high-quality charging cables, with advanced dynamic load balancing systems, all designed for superior reliability, efficiency, and safety across various electric vehicle types.
For optimal home charging, a Blaupunkt Wallbox is the ideal solution. Our wallboxes offer significantly faster and safer AC charging (up to 22 kW) compared to standard domestic outlets. Key benefits include integrated smart features such as dynamic load balancing to prevent grid overload, intuitive operation, durable construction, and the hallmark of premium German engineering, ensuring a reliable and future-proof charging experience.
Every electric vehicle owner should carry a high-quality portable EV charger (Mode 2 cable) in their trunk. This essential accessory enables convenient charging from standard household (Schuko) or industrial (CEE) sockets, providing a crucial backup solution when dedicated charging stations are unavailable. Should your country provide ample public AC charging opportunities, you should also be equipped with a double-sided cable, fitted to your car's AC charging speed.
Your electric vehicle's maximum AC charging speed is primarily governed by its onboard charger's capacity, a key specification found in your vehicle's manual or manufacturer's documentation. The actual charging speed will always be limited by the lowest capacity point within the charging ecosystem: your car's onboard charger, the charging station's maximum output, or the available power from your electrical grid connection. It can be the phases, the current or both that are the limiting factor. For example, if your car can accept 11 kW but your wallbox delivers 22 kW, your vehicle will charge at 11 kW. But if your car can charge at 7kW and the charging station delivers 11kW, interestingly, your car will only charge at 3,7kW.
